February 13th, 2011I’m feeling under the weather today and won’t be available in ST114 from 10 – 1
Thank you

Videos in Blackboard
January 26th, 2011If you have difficulty seeing the entire screen when a video is playing, you might want to change the resolution of your display. Increase its resolution, if it’s available. This will decrease “compact” all that you are seeing but the window should fit a little nicer.
Thank you
Wonderful News
January 18th, 2011I have access to ST114 every Monday this semester. What I’ve done is to ask them to set aside 11 – 1pm every week as time for us in that room. If you are having trouble, we can sit down together and try to figure it out. Or if you just want to work on your assignments, you’ll have an opportunity to do that.
I will actually be there by 10am so if you come a little early, I think we’ll be all right.
Office Hours have been listed
January 18th, 2011They are scheduled to start on January 24 “next Monday”. Of course feel free to contact me if you have any questions before then.
Logging into class
January 16th, 2011Go to www.blackboard.pima.edu, once there you will enter in your username and password. This will give you access to the classes that you are currently taking online. Once you click on the link, normally the instructor will have some sort of read me first document. Do that, reading it will help you understand what is required for the class.
Software
January 16th, 2011If you need to purchase software for your class, I recommend that you speak with the folks a www.diskovery.com
What will happen is they will ask to see either your student ID or registration. This helps them verify that you are a student. Once that is done, you can then purchase the software. Normally this is done at a deep discount.
